April is design month in Milan

In mid-April, the biggest design fairs in the world will once again be taking place in Milan. Not only will many designers and producers be putting in an appearance at the annual Salone del Mobile, which runs from 12 to 17 April, but numerous journalists and advisors will also be making their way to the historic city. “As a creative, you simply have to be at the fair”, explains Robert Kolenik. This year’s edition of the Salone is of particular interest to the designer, because a key part of the trade fair – the so-called Eurocucine section – will be showcasing kitchen design, one of Kolenik’s specialities. “The event is about so much more than simply gathering new ideas in the kitchen design field, or finding out about the latest interior design trends. The Salone is also an opportunity to meet up with clients and business contacts”, says the designer.
